Inject a whole lot of fun into preparing, cooking and eating meals with the brand new Disney cookbook - it's perfect for the whole family. Disney: The Simple Family Cookbook by Jean-François Mallet forms part of his SIMPLISSIME series of cookbooks, which are created to make cooking easy for everyone. The Disney title wants to bring back the joy of cooking delicious family meals with loved ones; each recipe has no more than five ingredients, with some requiring even less. The recipes bring the films and its characters to life for little ones, from spaghetti with Lady and the Tramp to Hawaiian pizza with Lilo & Stitch. There's over 100 to choose from, with simple instructions so little ones can get involved too. The list of ingredients on each page includes clear pictures of the item - great for helping children identify certain foods - as well as illustrations of the Disney character(s) it relates to. Mallet trained at the prestigious Ferrandi culinary school in Paris before venturing into photography. He now combines both his loves as a food photographer. "This book is the fruit of times spent in the kitchen with my two daughters, Jeanne and Paula," says Mallet in his foreword. "Ever since they were small children, they have been giving me ideas for easy recipes, and for this book they had fun inventing recipes to suit the Disney heroes and heroines who are much more familiar to them than to me. We regularly cook together as a family; it is a fun way to get them to eat everything, even spinach, broccoli and turnips..."
